A Disney employee was charged today with trying to give a year-old girl tickets to the amusement park in exchange for sex. That year-old girl, however, was actually an undercover cop. Darreck Michael Enciso, 27, is charged with one felony count each of attempted lewd acts oncontacting with intent to commit a sex crime and meeting a minor with intent to engage in lewd contact, the OC Register reports.
Enciso allegedly posted on Craigslist on July 1 that he would trade Disneyland tickets in exchange for sex. He received a message from a year-old girl agreeing to the deal, so he scheduled a meeting with her on July 9 near Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach.
Prosecutors say Enciso showed up, bringing along both the tickets and condoms. However, Enciso hadn't been messaging with a year-old girl, but rather a Huntington Beach police officer. Enciso was arrested and will be arraigned today.
If convicted, he may get up to four years and eight months behind bars. Police are looking for any other potential victims who may have responded to Enciso's ad, and say that Enciso posted multiple times, advertising a similar trade.
