The human figure has been prevalent in Donald Kolberg's three decades as a painter and sculptor.  He also has experience in film and television production. 

“In creating steel wire mesh sculpture, I work from a model form by hand, bending and manipulating the screen in relation to the tension created by the pose. The intricacies of the push and pull of the surface of the form caused by the body's muscles is what I am after.”
